Abstrak

This research aims to compare the health level of Regional Development Banks in the Sumatra Region before and after the 2017-2022 Covid-19 Pandemic. The research method used is the RGEC method as a measure of bank health. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and independent sample T-test & Wilcoxon sign-test. The population in this research is Regional Development Bank companies in the Sumatra Region which are registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Data processing was done with the SPSS v.25 program. The study's findings indicate that both before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, the NPL was regarded as being in excellent health. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, LDR is in good health, while GCG is in good health both before and after the epidemic. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, ROA was in better health, NIM was in better health, and CAR was in better health following the Covid-19 pandemic. Various tests indicate that there are no significant variations between the NPL, LDR, ROA, and NIM ratios before and after the Covid-19 epidemic, although there are substantial differences between the two in the CAR ratio.
