Abstrak

Coffee is one of the plantation commodities that is cultivated quite a lot by farmers in Indonesia, not only smallholder plantations but on a large scale coffee is also cultivated by large state plantations, private plantations. the potential for coffee plantations from year to year continues to increase along with the increasing amount of coffee production every year. In Indonesia, as a world coffee paradise, there are various types of coffee where each type has a different taste, according to the conditions of plant care. One type of coffee that has a bitter taste with low sugar content is Robusta coffee. Robusta coffee is widely cultivated on smallholder plantations. Based on the results of data analysis it is concluded that:

  1. Simultaneously socio-economic factors of land area, age, farming experience and level of education have an influence on the production of red-picked robusta coffee in Kabawetan District.
  2. The partial test results show that the variables of land area, farming experience and level of education have a significant effect on the production of red-picked robusta coffee in Kabawetan District.
