This study analyzes the effect of blade material variation on the performance of cassava cutting machines in small-scale household industries. Three types of blades stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy steel were tested to evaluate cutting capacity, efficiency, and product quality. Experimental results showed that stainless steel blades provided higher cutting efficiency and better product uniformity, while carbon steel blades offered higher durability but lower quality output. The findings suggest that blade material selection significantly influences machine performance and product quality in cassava processing.
