Coffee drying is a crucial post-harvest process that significantly affects product quality and shelf life. Traditional sun drying methods are highly dependent on weather conditions, leading to inconsistent results and contamination risks. This study aims to design and evaluate a solar-powered coffee dryer to improve drying efficiency and product quality for small-scale enterprises. The dryer was constructed using a parabolic solar collector and insulated drying chamber, tested with 10 kg of coffee beans under three different solar radiation conditions. Parameters measured included drying time, moisture reduction, and final product quality. Results show that the solar dryer reduced drying time by 35% compared to traditional sun drying, achieving final moisture content of 12% within 7 hours under optimal radiation. Product quality was improved with more uniform drying and reduced contamination risk. The findings suggest that solar-powered coffee dryers are a feasible and sustainable solution for SMEs, enhancing productivity and supporting renewable energy utilization
